NEW 3GB RAM Smartphone with Android Lollipop

Well you might be on to something, since the update I've had both those options disabled and haven't gotten cell standby on smartphones  only other things I did was uninstall rhapsody. It is still at 20% hours later which is where it had climbed to in the first 3 hours of turning the phone on. Hopefully, the battery life will be as good as it was with KK.

I haven't had what you are going through. Mine is a different world of hurt. Routers that worked fine in KK now are connection failure or saved. Three factory resets and it still happened. One unexpected work around I fell into was having Bluetooth turned off seems to have aleiviated this. Now I just need to turn it on in the car.

Boy the bugs just keep on coming with Lollipop.  Already wipe cache from recovery like 4 times but the problem is still there, i know its a lollipop issue but some other people dont have it so thats why im asking.  If you're always letting the level drop below 15% then you're shortening the life of your battery. Similarly, keeping it charged all the time and never letting it discharge also damages it. Had you discharge your battery down all the way to 0%, and charged, this would have not happened. Nothing to worry about though.

All the usages will keep stacking up if u wont charge it 100% everytime and the mobile standby on top is just a stats bug so chill ...nothing to worry about i was on a vacation and my mobile standby was 667% when i reached home..

I just used it for music, navigation and drive assist all at the same time. No apps have crashed on me uptill now. So i think the memory leak is not an issue after the 5.1 update.  It doesn't mean it's actually going to last 20 more hours because the phone isn't predicting what you're gong to do next. If you were using it, the screen would be at the top of the list above Google services.

After the update i have been getting more than 24hrs of battery life with 3.5-4.5 hrs of SOT without any problem...maybe i dont use mobile data at all. I think it has to do with the language in the configuration I think will have the option of removing it and I say I do not appear to have the same design and think it is off the icon language or something.

Gotten the 5.1.1 update and my only complaint is the aggressive ram management. Closing apps that I don't want when opening new ones. Have you been using the turbo charger most of the time? I had read a couple of articles that constantly using it causes loss of battery life. I honestly dont know if thats true or not as i dont use it. Hopefully i don't get to the point where you are right now. I usually check the ram consumption often and post 5.1 never found the system using up more than 500-700mb of memory. Hope it stays that way.

The battery is better in the new Doogee F3 PRO and the camera also. At times I feel that. F3 PRO is overheated phone using the camera. F3 PRO IS Android 5.1 lollipop and memory leak is very noticeable in this phone especially in the launcher phone. The truth no wonder much the F3 PRO Doogee in my experience.  waiting for it to her restart on its own but sadly it didn't that's why I had to press the power button that too I first pressed and hold as a normal of 4 seconds but it didn't powered up then I had to press and hold for really long time that's 10 second and then it powered on.

In recovery I had to hold both vol up and down simultaneously for 5 seconds then press the power button while continuing to hold both volume buttons. It did both a FDR and cleared the cache partition. I'm gonna give the phone a few days to see if it acts up again before I just to a replacement. It takes over a week to get it replaced.

Assume you've tested this with other subjects that have more contrast and confirmed the problem? Frosted glass isn't a good focus target for any camera . I'm not sure what you're comparing camera performance to. my first experience with the original the new smartphones 4g lte smartphones from was a real surprised. I couldn't believe a phone camera performance could be this good. Since then I've started taking more and more photos on the phone instead of my usual DSLR.

I created with photos and videos using the  Doogee f3 pro get it from Nextbuying running android 5.1  lollipop .  I actually made it 3 whole days before yesterday. Just FDR again about an hour ago. The thing just loses connection to the phone and won't see it until I reset it.

Play Services on smartphones

Play Services are complete shit since L release. Google apps are crashing more, than any others. In fact, Google apps are the only apps, that are crashing on my phone.  both of these devices have older processors. Nextbuying's mistake. I think that they won't releas repeat it again in xiaomi mi note pro 2015, but I don't care anymore about new lenovo and moto products.

Even if they fixed majority of bugs in L, this still doesn't save us from bugs and drains in Play Services.  need to go back to stock recovery and stock system to receive an OTA. I am not sure if you will receive a brazilian OTA or not.

just started the soak on those 2 phones. The fact that they finished beta testing (test drive) and started soak on the 4x honor means that it will be released. The soak is a release candidate. If they were going to drop it, it wouldn't have graduated to soak, it would have been dropped while in beta testing or before beta testing even started.

updating certain apps for lollipop. So long as you are running KitKat there's going to be issues. They're trying to fix what's not compatible with the pop with some smaller updates. fix update this week did not cause either of these issues for my device.  I've been dealing with them for at least 2 weeks, maybe longer.  If anything, Maps app crash is due to that app update recently, or another 3rd party app update.  The gallery has done that occasionally since I've ever had it running.  I'm not sweating it.

I expect hiccups, especially if/when L gets dropped on me. I just wanted to post images of the ridiculousness that was being displayed on my screen this morning within a short time frame today. I bought 1 Gen for my sister. Also, I don't want to own product from company that can't provide support for their flagship even for 2 years.

HTC only has one flagship every year. You could argue that Samsung has 2 flagships in the phone arena, the note and the S series device.  Because I'll know what brand to choose next time I'll need a new smartphone.

Nexus doesn't have anything special apart fast updates, iPhone is locked down with what you can or can't do and now Huawei is being really bad at updates. China phones aren't ready yet to conquer USA/European market.

other flagships it showed that there's no need to have an extremely expensive device to have a great experience. As for the update I'm not defending lenovo vibe series, I know they have taking way longer than it probably should have, all I'm saying is that constantly complaining about the lack of lollipop isn't going to change a thing .

I was actually on vacation and out of touch for 8 days, so I just thought I must have missed something!  I was having similar performance troubles, and thought I'd give rooting/Cyanogenmod a try on the xiaomi and other china phone ulefone be touch on this link  No go.  The 4.4.4 rom is, according tot he community, unrootable.  Unless you have the developer edition of course.

surfaced on KitKat for me only after lollipop had started running out. I think it is a bug in an upgraded common component Google play services

I love my xiaomi mi3

Took a few small drops with case and screen protector, unscathed. And still running smooth as the day I took it out of the box. Stock 4.4.4 works beautifully  the 2 replacements from Verizon, one due to a defective battery and the other due to a shattered internal touch screen, all have run extremely well. Very smooth, excited to see lollipop run on this. I'm sure it will be just as responsive, just how the Nexus 4.

Performance took a hit when Facebook application was installed, but returned to normal after uninstall. This is my Chinese phone I've owned,  had Samsung and HTC and my 1053 is by far the best. I've tweaked the phone to the point where I have 50% battery life left at the end of the day.

I love my xiaomi mi3 but I feel like you could use your 359 better. Both the phones are about the same. The xiaomi note gets faster updates but the battery is bigger.   that price is its nice. I love my mi3 its so fast because of the pure droid. Another good thing is the voice control, the shake of the xiaomi to open the camera and the customizing.

Always un-root. However, if it's rooted, can't you just flash lollipop into it? Or the latest Cyanogen Mod that can look exactly like lollipop?? Xiaomi is like one of the best phones one plus one is great but not its not stock android but actually now that I think about it if you really like it then go for it. But in my opinion I would change my mi3.

Reboot all the things. That fixes most problems like this. Especially if nothing changed between the "it's working" and "it's not working" phases. I've previously had connection trouble after brief power outages, but not with my mi3 xiaomi.   That is definitely the exact problem I'm having. Most of those folks seemed to have the problem within a few weeks of getting the phone.

Reseted and helped with some problems...but 5.0 still have some bugs like problem after lollipop first boot if you have 2 factor Auth on your account, messages don't show with the pincode and if you skip Google's account configuration you don't get the restore backup dialog afterwards when you set the account. But I recommend FR after update it fixed other issues.,

I'm pretty sure it's much easier and faster to update a freaking bread toaster than a communications satellite I've made it standard practice to always reset my phone after a Major Update. Phone runs well, but I also suffer the memory bug which is why I reboot my phone every few days.

get a good long day out of the Chinese Smartphones. The battery saver is pretty impressive if you are going to be away from a charger for a long time. I have found that the mi4 battery life is VERY dependent on the watch face I use. A simple watch face will get significantly better battery life than some more complicated "prettier" watch faces.

If the screen does break, good luck with customer service, Huawei was HORRIBLE to deal with. All that said, it's still the best phone out there. Which works flawlessly by the way. It's going to be awesome when you get it. Star away from the flappy droid have though it's extremely frustrating..

had the wooden back cover peel off slightly, but noticeably from all sides. I had to use binder clips for a couple of days to get it to stick with the adhesive. Many people have complained of poor build quality with the phones.
