One Oneplus Two install Custom Roms ??

This is also great for the that dude that jumped himself to a really high spot, however, isn't great for people who registered early, Just changed to the CM night on my One and got working WiFi and lagless GUI, so I'm good for a bit, but I would like the USB-C. Too bad they dropped the ball on NFC... I realize few people use it, but it's in nearly every store now and people are really starting to like it.

For selfish reasons of getting my hands on one sooner, I hope you are right and I am dead wrong my battery on average over the years goes a full day of my "regular use" nothing crazy just a normal day at work. About four weeks ago it got weaker and sometimes was only making ten hours.

factory reset is not a fun option but almost always does the trick.. It does make it like new but is very hard to make the decision to do.. If my phone was acting up I would definitely go the route.. Oneplus first generation is still going strong.. Battery isn't what it use to be but still good.. Let me know if the factory reset helps your battery any. I might have to reset mine

I could this week and decided it was time to leave Samsung and make Oneplus Two my next driver! everyone and their mother has a device for every budget range, they all have the same spec.  have LTE as far as I know so if your sim is capable along with your carrier and your apn is set correctly you should not have a problem.

I'd have taken a Sony Z3 mini if I needed to. However there was no way I was going to buy the new Oneplus Two's just based on leaked specs the price on Nextbuying 4G ver $559.98 USD. Too much size, too many over powered components. Too small a battery. Too confusing to even remember which phone is which. I wanted to like the new line up. I simply am not impressed and I miss the Oneplus One of old.

That void will be filled by LG Nexus 5 but that's unfortunate. I and many others would have much preferred to have a Xiaomi device instead. I just can't believe they would abandon such a huge contingency just like that!

recommended you root if you want install a custom rom with personalization and performance options, like Resurrection Remix or CM12, both have options for change status bar, recent task visualization and navigation buttons. But if you want a pure rom with cm12 without mayor modifications, the best roms is Paranoid where root is not necessary. I recommended you Resurrection Remix, great performance and battery life.

installing custom roms, it's actually pointless to root before. Rooting gives u root access on ur stock rom which you're gonna replace with a custom rom anyways, so it's really pointless to root before installing a custom rom because this rooted stock rom is going to be replaced with a custom rom. Most custom roms are rooted by default anyways and if u install a custom rom which is not rooted, you can root it after installing it, not root ur stock rom before installing the custom rom...

Except for the battery life new smartphones

bear motion makes cases for the new smartphones now. Best cases I've ever used as a slim form factor. Best part. I use Google Now all the time! The search bar at the top of the home screen is a bit stupid though since I can just say ok google or simply swipe to the left.. use it a heck of a lot more when I'm using Google now launcher. I found that when I switched to Nova, I wasn't using it as much as it wasn't a slide away.

I've been using chinese smartphones the cubot new modeal cubot x9 and is pretty good. There's delay after pressing the shuttle button but I'm thinking is a bug. I like the quality of the pictures better with this app. It also let you take pictures at full 13mp...

it doesn't matter unless it's pure black. The only color that would save battery on AMOLED is pure black which would turn off all pixels. Any other color, no matter how dark it is, even the darkest non pure black color would turn on the pixels and would use as much battery as all white. So unless u're using an all pure black wallpaper, this wallpaper wouldn't be a problem.

I always thought this was an accidental feature. It awakes due to change in light, like when you take it out of your pocket, so I figured when your hand over it it was just responding to the change in light.

have a 2013 Oneplus One,  I use the phones exclusively (but have been an android fanboy since the OG Droid). iPhone 6 just works better (gag me) and apps can not be touched with android right now. I never thought I would say it, but my jail broken iPhone 6 is simply a better product to use. With that said, I still LOVE the cheap smartphones. I love everything about it minus the battery life. The form factor, the feel in hand, lollipop. Android just needs their own apps to pull me back full time.

both the iPhone 6 and the Cubot x9. not long ago and missed it enough I went out and bought another one. I just can't decide which I like better. I am constantly switching between the 2. Gotta say I am really enjoying Lollipop. Love the android Voice, Assist and have completely fallen in love with waving my hand over the screen to turn it on and trusted devices for keeping it unlocked.

from the past, after everyone else sooner than spring of 2015. I miss not having my watch on while using the iPhone.

I wasn't sure how it worked yet, just got new phones the other day and haven't switched to T-Mobile yet so just been using it on WiFi for now.. Good to know tho, they made the heads up sound more like how apple did when it was announced.. iPhone 6 is my main phone, but I also use for work (I work for Verizon)...I had the 1st Gen smartphones chinese  oneplus one and OPPO  and loved it so I chose the 2nd Gen as my work phone...for me

Pocket detection, call screen blacking, active display... Many uses for one sensor. With the addition of three more, on the 2014, sensors can detect more accurately and nuanced changes in lighting for more interaction software abilities.  when brightness is turned to minimum on 5.0, the screen does have a pink tint. But, when you turn off the Adaptive Display...

Except for the battery life. I was all set to upgrade to the new phones and expecting OTG to address the battery issue. They dropped the ball.

The Nexus 6 was getting my attention and was probably going to be my next phone, until I got the 1+1. I bought it during one of their open order windows and figured if I did not like it I could sell it and get a Nexus 6.

1 weeks later I'm loving the 1+1 and not looking back. Hopefully, Oneplus One will fix the battery issue on the back my business.

have lollipop. And no, lollipop doesn't have quick reply. It has heads up notifications and can click on those to "quickly reply", but that simply opens the messaging app. iOS 8 allows you to actually respond from within whatever app you're in at the time. Or, from the lock screen.

I'm pretty neutral about mine.  It's alright.  Not as great as everyone is making it out to be.  I feel like a lot of people are swept up in the hype.  There's still stuttering in the UI, and there are quite a few problems.  Crashing in the UI, as well as some weird Settings glitch when a theme is applied.

The settings glitch, as far as I've read, is an issue on the themes part not CM11S, as it is only certain themes that will crash when you try to go into the settings menu.  Sucks that you've had a bad experience as mine has been nothing but fluid, no lag, no random restarts, nothing. Just a fast fluid device.

The screen showed the unlock warning I pressed volume down. I made it to fastboot and from there I was able to get to TWRP Got my update last Friday and I'm not part of the feedback program (that I'm aware of, anyway). So far all I've noticed different is the dialer.

I believe there's an argument to be made that with everything taken into account (battery life, screen, speakers, software, build quality, camera, etc) that it is the best device on the market.  I had the N5 before it, and have used the M8 and S5.  I typically switch phones every few months, but for now the only 2 devices I would want are the Oneplus one smartphones ( i OPO smartphone don't get from OPO sites, i don't have a Invite so i get it from Nextbuying the price is 389.98 and the HTC ONE M8.

ART is a bit snappier all around and there may be a bit better battery life too but all it takes is one app to not be fully optimized for ART and it can unknowingly hurt battery life IMO. I'm just gonna wait until Android L for that reason.

See I disagree with the vanilla part.  unlike anything on the market, it's really different and makes the device stand out.  Also, CM allows for so much more customization than other software such as Sense.  You can really make this device whatever you want with CM.

The battery life got worse in 4.4.2 and ART does not appear to make a difference. Maybe a slight one. I'm a very heavy user, though, and the screen is always my #1 battery sucker by a big.  is just in my ex phones i got better results. But if youre getting 26 hrs run is amazing, the voice on the oneplus one eat the battery life

couldn't tell you. I never ran into anything that didn't open up fine. I just found that battery life using ART was very inconsistent for me on my smartphones. Sometimes better and sometimes worse. Only reasonable conclusion that I came to was that, until Android L is released and developers are forced to write apps for ART, everything is and will be optimized, Wish I had more concrete evidence but that's my two cents on the matter.
